Job description:
We are looking for a dedicated and caring Level 3 Practitioner to join our team. The position is for Maternity Cover, but does offer the potential to become permanent. The role is to work as a part of our friendly team to deliver a high standard of care and education for the children aged 2-4 years in our care. We are implementing the Curiosity Approach and are an Outdoor Free Flow setting. The successful candidate must be willing to work outdoors in all weathers. Be able to reflect and adapt practice to support the needs of the children and the Pre-school.
Main duties:
Provide excellent care and education for the children following the EYFS. Foster children's natural curiosity to promote their learning and development. To work with children who may need additional support. To work as part of a team. Promote high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Implement Health and Safety standards in accordance with our policies. Ensure children are safe at all times.
Experience and qualifications:
We are looking for a level 2/3 Practitioner ideally with experience of working with the EYFS. Hold or be willing to obtain Paediatric First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Safety Qualifications.
Personal qualities:
The successful person must be able to work alongside our staff to make sure the children are happy and secure in the Pre-school. The role needs someone who enjoys playing with children, is able follow their lead and is not afraid to get messy.

This is initially Maternity cover from 1st September 2025 - 10th July 2026 The hours are 8.15am - 3.15 pm (35 hours) Monday - Friday Term Time only The post is subject to 2 references and a clear DBS
