To work alongside the Room Leader as an aspiring member of the nursery leadership team, undertaking an instrumental role in the quality and development of the practice, provision and offer to children and their families. To ensure that all children attending the setting receive high quality care, are kept safe and receive a rich and stimulating play based early years education which meets their individual needs and celebrates their individuality.
Provide high quality education & childcare with continuous improvement. Observe, plan, extend & support in line with EYFS & Development Matters. Expand your professional knowledge and understanding via CPD. Key person & parent partnership responsibilities.
Experience and qualifications:
Minimum Level 3 full & relevant childcare qualification. Knowledge and experience of delivering a play based early years curriculum that meets the requirements of the EYFS.
Ability to deputise in a team leadership role in the absence of the room leader and have a strong commitment to career progression into a team leadership role in the future. Ability to work unsupervised & to lead and motivate others within your team.
