Assistant Nursery Manager – Become a Key Part of the Ashbourne Day Nurseries Team Location: Leicester Montessori Stoneygate Salary - up to £31,000 per annum 40 Hours, 5 days, All Year Round Ashbourne Day Nurseries is looking for a passionate and dedicated Assistant Nursery Manager to join our friendly team. Your Role as Assistant Manager As Assistant Nursery Manager, you’ll work alongside the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery. You’ll support in leading a wonderful team of childcare professionals, ensuring children are provided with a safe, inspiring, and stimulating environment where they can learn and grow. You’ll also take on key responsibilities when the Nursery Manager is away, helping to ensure that we continue to maintain our high standards. You hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification. You have previous experience working in an early year's setting, with some leadership or supervisory experience You are passionate about early years education and have a great understanding of the EY
Main duties:
What You’ll Be Doing Supporting the Nursery Manager in the daily operation of the nursery, including staff management, compliance, and resources Leading by example, promoting a positive, inclusive, and nurturing environment for both children and staff Helping to ensure that all nursery practices meet Ofsted and EYFS requirements Building strong relationships with parents and families, keeping them updated on their child’s progress Taking on a hands-on approach with children, supporting their learning and development Stepping up in the Nursery Manager’s absence to maintain high standards of care and education About You
Experience and qualifications:
Level 3 Qualification
Personal qualities:
You hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification. You have previous experience working in an early year's setting, with some leadership or supervisory experience You are passionate about early years education and have a great understanding of the EYFS framework You’re a natural team player with
