Job description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years practitioner to join our small, but experienced team of professionals in our Pre-school setting. You will participate in planning and delivering activities, working with, and supporting other members of the staff team. Observing, assessing and monitoring the development of particular key children. Care for the physical, social, emotional and general wellbeing of all children and team members.
Main duties:
Planning, preparation and delivering a high quality and inspiring range of activities for all of the children in the setting. Keeping Learning Journeys for key children Some snack preparation. General cleaning in all areas as necessary. Working as part of a close professional and supportive team
Experience and qualifications:
Experience of working with 2.5 - 4 year old children. Level 3 minimum Sound knowledge of Child development, Safeguarding, and EYFS. First Aid training up to date. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Committed to the inclusion and support of all children in the setting.
Personal qualities:
Enthusiastic, lively and creative. Also reliable and willing to work as part of a small team. Willing to take on all activities and roles as required. A friendly and self-motivated person who is willing and able to work on their own initiative at times.
Terms and conditions:
Hours per week: 25-30 hours Pay range: approx £12 per hour
