Job description:
We require an experienced practitioner to join our small and dedicated team of professionals to work in our Pre-school and to be part of our team. Able to support all children in their learning and development and to record and share information with parents. To learn and follow our policies and procedures in order to keep all those in the setting safe and protect their wellbeing.
Main duties:
Planning, preparing and delivering activities for small and larger groups. Recording observations, assessing progress and reporting to parents for key children. Working with the team in all areas to support all children and adults in the setting. Preparing and supervising snack time and supervising lunchtime. Cleaning as and when needed. Meeting to plan and share ideas with other members of the team but also prepared to work on own initiative.
Experience and qualifications:
Experience of working within a Pre-School environment. Level 3 qualification. A good working knowledge of EYFS and current requirements. Safeguarding and First Aid qualified. (relevant and current certificates)
Personal qualities:
Ability to communicate well with adults, children and parents. A team player who will support and bring ideas and expertise to our staff team. Can work on own initiative and also support all adults and children in the setting.
Terms and conditions:
22 hours per week possibly to increase. DBS and 2 referees required. 3 months probation period.
