Job description:
To work as a key person, and member of the nursery team to provide safe, high quality education and care for young children. To have full regard to the requirements of the Statutory Guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage. Ensure implementation and compliance with all legal and statutory requirements, company policy and handbook and any other contractual requirements.
Main duties:
To work within and communicate with others in our Early Years Team, supporting the planning and implementation of activities with individuals or groups of children. To promote the inclusion of all children. To establish positive and sensitive relationships with children. To know and understand the EYFS framework. Record as required details of children’s developmental progress, attendance, and care routines (i.e. children’s records, online learning journal, care sheet and register) To act as a role model and set achievable expectations. To use professional knowledge of the individual and diverse ways that children learn and develop, to meet their differing needs
Experience and qualifications:
Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification
Personal qualities:
Caring and Nurturing Enthusiastic Responsible Flexible Works well under pressure
