Job description:
Working as part of a team of Early Years Professionals and in partnership with parents your role is to plan for the learning and development of all children in your care. Providing outstanding environments and experiences and delivering a rich curriculum tailored to meet children’s individual needs
Main duties:
Promote the highest standards of education and care within the nursery to create outstanding environments and experiences for all children so the children’s learning and development is impacted in a positive way.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, employee, parent, and visitor at all times by adhering to all Health and Safety requirements whilst embedding a culture of safe working practices.
Contribute to ensuring that standards within the nursery meet the requirements of the company policies, procedures, and operating practice.
Contribute to ensuring that practice and the provision requirements of the statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including the safeguarding and child protection requirements, are always met.
Assume highly effective key person responsibilities for designated children completing accurate and timely development checks and assessments.
Attend all staff meetings and ensure that all mandatory training is completed within the agreed timeframes
Experience and qualifications:
Full and relevant level 3 in childcare qualification (as well as any necessary supporting documents/qualifications e.g. English/Maths). No prior experience is necessary.
