We’re on the lookout for a caring, enthusiastic, and creative Preschool Practitioner to support the development, learning, and happiness of our little learners (aged 2–5). You'll work closely with a friendly team to create a safe, stimulating, and magical environment where every child feels seen, heard, and valued.

🧩 About You: You hold a relevant Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification. You’re full of energy, kindness, and creativity. You’re reliable, flexible, and a true team player. A clear Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one before the start date). You have a passion for helping young children grow and thrive. Main duties:

Main Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes children’s well-being and encourages curiosity and independence.

Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, ensuring individual learning needs are met and communicated effectively with parents and carers.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support each child’s development and welfare.

Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety, following safeguarding policies and health and safety procedures at all times.

Promote positive behavior and social development by being a consistent, caring role model. Support children with additional needs, adapting activities and routines to ensure inclusion.

Contribute to the planning and review of the curriculum and participate in regular staff meetings and training.

Experience and qualifications:

Experience and Qualifications Required:

A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) is essential.

A clear enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)

Paediatric first aid or willingness to undergo them.

Personal qualities:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to work as part of a team, show initiative, and maintain a positive, proactive attitude.

A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Terms and conditions:

Permanent/part-time role. Working hours between 8.30-1pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

Salary based on qualifications and experience.

Includes paid holidays, pension scheme, training opportunities, and DBS clearance required and 2 references required.
