Cost

The cost of your application will depend on:

  • the Authority area that your surveys fall into
  • the concentration of surveys in an area
  • the type of equipment you are deploying
  • the availability of data to the Authority

Where an Authority has a temporary survey licensing scheme the charges vary from Authority area to Authority area. If you are surveying near to a County or City boundary please provide us with the survey locations and we will estimate the license costs for those areas that fall under this licensing scheme.

There are license discounts available for providing the survey data to the Authority and for grouped survey locations i.e. a number of junctions along a link or around a town.

The licence cost is per piece of equipment however, as cameras are typically used in groups for coverage and redundancy, if multiple cameras are being used to monitor a single junction for example, these are considered as a single piece of equipment.
