Job description:
• To work as a key person, and member of the nursery team to provide safe, high quality education and care for young children. • To have full regard to the requirements of the Statutory Guidance for the Early Years Foundation Stage. • Ensure implementation and compliance with all legal and statutory requirements, company policy and handbook and any other contractual requirements.
Main duties:
• To be part of our Early Years Team that provides a purposeful, stimulating environment rich in learning opportunities, both indoors and outdoors. • To promote the inclusion of all children. • To act as a role model and set achievable expectations. • To assist with domestic duties as required.
Experience and qualifications:
Experience within a child care setting is desirable but not essential. Qualified to a level 2 or 3 in Childcare
Personal qualities:
You must be punctual, reliable and enthusiastic. Good communicator as we are heavily focused on partnerships with our parents. Ambitious to deliver our own curriculum. Willing to learn and extend own knowledge.
Terms and conditions:
The post holder will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS disclosure and to be a member of the DBS Update Service.
