Submit a childcare job vacancy

A job listings webpage has been developed to enhance the recruitment and retention of childcare practitioners. Leicestershire providers can advertise their vacancies free of charge.

Vacancies submitted will be uploaded weekly on a Friday lunchtime – providers will need to submit their vacancy details by midday on Thursday to ensure being included in that week's listings.

Complete the vacancy submission form

Send in a vacancy via our online form. Providers will need:

  • A full Job Description PDF document to upload
  • A full Person Specification PDF document to upload
  • An application form document, if applicants will be required to use one
  • To summarise the main duties, personal quality attributes, terms and conditions and any benefits
  • To provide full details about the job such as closing date and time, salary/pay rate, contract type
  • To complete all sections of the form

Providers can select how they wish candidates to apply; by email, by visiting their website, or by downloading their application form.

What happens next

When the vacancy has been submitted, providers will receive an email with a reference number and a summary of the submission. The Early Learning and Childcare Service will review all submissions and providers will receive a second email confirming when the vacancy will go live, if it was approved, or giving reasons why it was declined.
