Training and Development (CPD)
The Early Learning and Childcare Service coordinates’ value for money training courses and events specifically aimed at primary schools.
View and book training for EYFS practitioners including:
- a suite of Safeguarding courses
- Maths through play
- Music and movement in the Early Years
- Paediatric First Aid
- Coaching and Mentoring
and information events based on the Early Years Foundation Stage.
LA EYFS School networks
Come along to one of the sessions which will include:
- Key updates – national and local
- Current LCC projects and developments in relation to Early Years
- A chance to share your ideas and suggestions – eg. on future training, on “school readiness”, on current challenges
- Time to reflect on practice and provision
