We offer statutory and commissioned services for Leicestershire educational settings, schools, academies and professionals working with children and young people aged 0 – 25 years.
Schools must ensure that children and young people with medical needs - such as asthma, diabetes, epilepsy or other medical conditions - are fully supported to get the most from education.
Every young person in custody in Leicestershire has a case manager from our Youth Offending Service (YOS). The case manager continues to work with them after they leave custody until the end of their licence period.
The Special Educational Needs Assessment (SENA) service carry out the statutory assessment and review of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) for children and young people aged 0 - 25.
