Support for schools

We offer statutory and commissioned services for Leicestershire educational settings, schools, academies and professionals working with children and young people aged 0 – 25 years.

Schools should ensure that young people with a disability are supported according to their individual needs.

Every young person in custody in Leicestershire has a case manager from our Youth Offending Service (YOS). The case manager continues to work with them after they leave custody until the end of their licence period.

The Special Educational Needs Assessment and Commissioning Service (SENA) carry out statutory assessment and review of children and young people who have an EHCP from age 0 – 25.
